- Abstract
The article presents a study which validates two existing models that predict Cesarean section after induction of labor. The study analyzes the calibration, the discriminative capacity, and the ability of the models to distinguish subjects who had Cesarean section from those who did not, through receiver-operating characteristics (ROC) analysis. Result of the study shows that both models overestimated the risk of Cesarean delivery and are not recommended for use in clinical practice.
