- Abstract
The article focuses on a new record of the ogyridid shrimp or ogyrides mjoebergi which were obtained by snorkelling over sandy bottoms at a depth of 5 meters along the Levantine coasts of Turkey. The specimens, including the one photographed, are preserved in 4% formaldehyde and deposited in the Museum of the Faculty of Fisheries, Ege University, Bornova-Izmir. A review of inventory studies relevant to this species indicates, that Ogyrides mjoebergi constitutes a new record.
