- Authors
Rose Samuelson, Cheyla
- Abstract
The article discusses the critical reception of the works of Mexican author Valeria Luiselli in Mexico and the U.S. and how her transnational and postnational literary production exceeds the limits of both critical traditions to demand a transnational critical approach. Topics include the success achieved by the author in the U.S., the implications of the divergence in the reception of Luiselli's works in the U.S. and Mexico, and a discussion of the world literature and its discontents.
