- Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore and analyze the process of co-construction of meanings about themselves, with three children five and six years-old, who are institutionalized and have been declared adoptable. By developing case studies, both idiographic and microgenetic methods are used to identify each child's Dynamic Positions. It was found that in all three kids there's a present tension between two opposing fields, feeling loved vs. feeling abandoned. That is why children use resources as tools and create positions to overcome experience in the institution, reinforced by relationships with significant others around them.
