- Abstract
This paper presents the clinical group experience with women victims of sexual torture during the period of military dictatorship in our country. In the trauma of socio-political etiology repair is not only an elaboration of the traumatic experience in a therapeutic space, it is also essential public recognition on the part of the State of the violations of Human Rights. Also this paper shows parts of the therapeutic group work made in the Latin American Institute for Mental Health and Human Rights (ILAS) with patients arising to our institution after declaring the National Commission on Political Imprisonment and Torture. (2003-2004) It examines the therapeutic process and the reconstruction of the subjectivity through the joint construction of individual and collective memory.
