- Abstract
The article explores the history of Texas's and Oklahoma's bifurcated courts of last resort, the similarities and differences between the two systems, and controversies that have arisen due to jurisdictional questions. Topics discussed include implications of the government's policy forbidding disclosure of the lethal injection drugs; jurisdictional difference between the Oklahoma Supreme Court and the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals; and difference between civil and criminal jurisdiction.
