- Abstract
The article examines the significance of KIT M541L mutations in case of hypereosinophilia. The researchers screened healthy controls as well as patients referred for investigation of FIP1L1-PDGFRA-negative HE for KIT M541L by making use of an refractory mutation system polymerase chain reaction. They did not find more prevalence of KIT M541L in hypereosinophilia patients compared to controls.
