- Abstract
An experiment was conducted at Agriculture College farm, Gwalior during the year 2006-07. on the basis of results indicated that two irrigation (apploed at flowering and pod formation stages) gave higher seed yield, oil yield and yield attributing characters which is significantly superior over other treatments. Control plot gave higher water use efficliency while harvest index was higher in are irrigation applied at flower initiation. There were no significant differences were observered among the varieties of ,istard (Laxmi, Basundhara, Jagnnath and push bold) which were statistically at par among them selves in connection with the yield & yield attributes.
