- Abstract
This article outlines the reconceptualisation and revision of a Year 9 English unit plan to align with practical frameworks of multiliteracies instruction. A middle years English unit plan, which promoted traditional literacy practices over multiliteracies learning, was redesigned to demonstrate how multiliteracies learning could be seamlessly integrated into classroom learning. Aligning both pedagogical foci allowed teachers to augment appropriately students' kaleidoscopic multiliteracies skills, to equip them as productive members of their communities after secondary schooling.
