- Abstract
The article focuses on the study of the effect different barley levels on the digestibility and the main rheological characteristics of the digesta. The study collected samples of digesta from a ram via cannula, carrying out with the viscometer Rheotest 2. The study's experimental data depicted an increase of digestibility from 12 hours to 48 hours. The capability of ruminal microorganisms to derive energy for cell protein synthesis from carbohydrate fractions is cited.
