- Abstract
The article discusses research on the association of orthodenticle with natural variation for Drosophila melanogaster's early embryonic patterning. The study established the isofemale lines of Drosophila melanogaster and then the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification and sequencing performed on them. Results indicated that the null hypthesis of neutrality cannot be rejected in majority of the orthodenticle Bicod cis-regulatory response (BCRE).
