The article focuses on decision of Great Britain's Court of Appeal in the case Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Catherine Fearon, Jonathan Ratel v Maria Bamieh on personal liability of co-workers in the context of whistleblowing. It mentions co-worker liability for whistleblowing detriment achieved by way the insertion of section 47B (1A) into the Employment Rights Act 1996. It also mentions potential extra-territorial application of further claims, particularly in relation to discrimination.
