- Abstract
The article discusses the decision of the Court of Justice of the European Union in Elisabeta Dano, Florian Dano v Jobcenter Leipzig that an economically inactive European Union (EU) citizens who does not fulfill the requirements of Directive is not entitled for legal residence in the host Member State. Topics discussed include Germany's policies to restrict benefits to EU migrants, rights of residence in host EU Member States and individual right to move and reside freely.
