- Abstract
The article discusses research on the immuno-allergic interstitial nephritis (AIN) that is induced by fluindione. It references a study by Hassane Izzedine and colleagues, published in the November 21, 2008 issue of "NDT Plus."The researchers studied the case of a 70-year-old woman hospitalized for acute kidney injury (AKI). She was treated with atenolol and amlodipine. Asymptomatic atrial fibrillation was later detected. They found that fluindione is among the drugs that can induce AIN.
