- Abstract
The article discusses the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case 'Town of Greece v. Galloway' concerning the constitutionality of the Town of Greece, New York's practice of opening its monthly board meetings with a prayer. Topics discussed include violation of the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment; the U.S. court case 'Marsh v. Chambers,' and the court opinion on importance of considering the historical traditions of legislative prayer.
