- Abstract
The article focuses on analysis of a study related to permissive hypercapnia among infants with low birth weight. Topics discussed include assessment of hypercapnia impact over proliferation of Intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH) among preterm infants; concerns related to an increment in PaCO2 levels among infants through hypercapnia; challenges in maintenance of ventilator settings by caregivers; and examination of normocapnic level maintenance in target groups.
