- Abstract
This study is conducted to determine whether emotional intelligence levels of preschool teachers differ according to age, education level and participation to social activities number of in-service trainings participated. The research is implemented with 378 preschool teachers working in public and private preschool educational institutions in 13 cities in Central Anatolia Region. In the study, a 'Personal Information Form' is used to obtain socio-demographic information (age, education level, participation to social activities and number of in-service trainings participated) about preschool teachers; 'Bar-on Emotional Intelligence Scale', 'Hackman and Oldham Job Satisfaction Scale', and 'Maslach Burnout Inventory' are used to determine teachers' emotional intelligence abilities, job satisfaction and burnout levels. As a result of the study, preschool teachers' emotional intelligence skills, job satisfaction and exhaustion level show differences according to some variables.
