- Abstract
The article focuses on Lusophone studies on topics and methodologies on Portugal and Portuguese-speaking countries and communities in Africa and Asia. It highlights the scholarly practices on politics of identity and survival in North America. It discusses the inclusiveness of Iberian studies with the Luso-Brazilian content (a mixture of Brazilian and Portuguese culture). It reflects on the interdisciplinary affiliations between Portuguese studies and humanities disciplines in postcolonialism and its impact on the valorization of cultures and nationalities under Portuguese colonialism.
