Stoker, Donald
- Abstract
The article talks about a British military mission that went to Finland in 1925 to survey the country's military capabilities and make appropriate recommendations. In 1919, a French military mission went to Finland but with an agenda that included intelligence gathering and conducting propaganda for the alliance strategy of France. The British mission proceeded in July 1924 even after objections were raised due to Finland's proximity to Russia. The author talks about the recommendations made and other endeavors of Finland to strengthen its military base.
