- Abstract
The article discusses the proposals presented by the British Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) on August 28, 2015 to resolve the issue of bovine tuberculosis (TB) in England. Among the proposals are changing the criteria for future badger control licences, and controlling bovine TB in non-bovine animals like pigs, goats and deer. Also cited is the comment by British Veterinary Association's (BVA) John Blackwell on the proposals.
