In this article the author discusses the influence of the Church Canon Law to the Catholic physician's decision to comply on the apotemnophilia patient's request of elective amputation. He notes on the perspective of canon law in which it is used as guidance for moral decision-making. He remarks on the Catholic moral teaching on self mutilations. He mentions the canon 209 origin and the Christians personal responsibility for evangelization of the world.
