- Abstract
The article reports that the founder of Just Us Books in 1988, who are husband and wife Wade and Cheryl Hudson, are continuing their mission of providing positive multicultural literature to children and young adults with the establishment of the Knowledge Is Power Project. This is a nonprofit literacy organization which borrows from the Hudsons' personal and professional view that good books make a powerful and positive difference in the development and growth of young people. Its goal is to empower, educate and inspire low- to moderate-income and underserved youth of all ages by providing them books for reading.
