The article discusses findings on phonatory and laryngeal characteristics in the acoustic and perceptual studies on ataxic dysarthria. It indicate inconsistency in the phonatory deviations due to underlying dysmetria in subjects with focal cerebellar lesions. It details the laryngeal measures in increased long and short term pitch and loudness fluctuations in ataxic dysarthria.
