- Authors
Hendriksen, Jolanda; Hijmans, B.A. W.
- Abstract
The article reports on reconstruction of the events in November 1940 when J. A. J. Barge delivered a series of lectures in Holland, on physical anthropology which contradicted the racial theories of the Nazis. Barge elaborated on the diversity of man and pointed out that there is no such thing as a German race. He noted that the German people do not form a homogeneous group because not all are tall, blue-eyed and blond.
