- Abstract
The article focuses on the motor vehicle-related deaths in the U.S. from 2003 to 2007 based on the report of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) using data from the National Vital Statistics System (NVSS). Topics include the higher rate of motor vehicle-related mortality among men, the racial and ethnic differences in motor vehicle accidents, and how to prevent motor vehicle accidents by adopting evidence-based strategies like primary seat belt laws.
