- Abstract
The article discusses as study which examined four place-related constructs, country and people images, product images, affinity and animosity, among ethnic consumers. Topics covered include the influence of the constructs on consumers' attitudes towards the product of countries perceived as friendly or hostile in relation to their original home countries, the influence of affective and cognitive factors on product and people evaluations, and implications from the findings.
