In this article, the author comments on the difficulties in bankruptcy direct appeals and also provides insights for bankruptcy appellate procedure in general in the U.S. The author says that the relevant court of appeals should consider whether or not a stay should be granted in case of a direct appeal, if a lower court deems a matter worthy of direct appeal.
