Topics explored include the launch of the Campaign to End Child Marriage by the African Union (AU), child marriage statistics in the Sub-Saharan African region based on data from the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), and the commitment of the African Charter on Human and People's Rights to the United Nations (UN) Millennium Development Goals.
