- Authors
Crough, Tom D.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the commemorative function of aerospace museums as discussed in the article "Not Just the Hangars of World War II: American Aviation Museums and the Role of Memorial," which appears in this issue. The author noted that although commemoration is important, these aviation museums must also aim to educate and memorialize. Museum curators have the ability to place objects in a historical context and raise thought-provoking questions while honoring achievement and valor.
