- Abstract
The article analyzes autobiographies written by survivors of the Jewish Holocaust. Particular attention is given to literature that is focused on experiences at the concentration camps Auschwitz, Treblinka, and Buchenwald by writers such as Elie Wiesel, Primo Levi, and Eugene Heimler. The author discusses how the experiences of writing these autobiographies demonstrate human nature and the ability to learn from history, as well as the relationship between experiences and their narratives.
