- Abstract
The article examines the median lethal concentration of an emulsified formulation of temephos and its effects on the behavior as well as the cholinesterase activity in green frog tadpoles. Due to the effort of controlling mosquitoes that are breeding in wetlands, the use of potential control methods such as various biological control agents as well as pyrethroid and organophosphorous insecticides have been widely practiced. However, such method has been found to be lethal towards aquatic organisms and amphibians. For this reason, a study has been conducted in order to cater such query regarding the effects of temephos on amphibians, specifically green frog tadpoles. Furthermore, the result of the study has been provided.
