An interview with landscape architect Kathryn Gustafson is presented. Gustafson discusses her landscape design for the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC), located in the National Mall in Washington, D.C. She mentions the African American experience as the primary inspiration for the landscape design of NMAAHC. She also talks about the various features of the landscape design of NMAAHC.
