The article offers an analysis of the essay "Philosophie de la Relation" by Martinican author Édouard Glissant. The paradox and ambiguity unfolding in the essay as well as Glissant's assertion of presence and absence in this work are discussed. Some of the key concepts tackled in the essay include the philosophy of Relation, the uncertain and opacity of the world.
