- Abstract
A literary criticism of the book "Our Nig" by Harriet E. Wilson is presented. It examines the representation of African American female victimization in the anti-slavery narrative through the exposure of heterosexual sadism or perverse heterosexual triangle. It analyzes the sexualizing and re-gendering of the white women characters within the triangle of sexual desire and it also explores the portrayal of the African American female trickster.
