An interview with Ifa Bayeza is presented. She points out that her earlier Piece "Homer G. & the Rhapsodies in the Fall of Detroit," was what really started her journey with Emmett Till. She notes how her research on Emmett Till brought back her own childhood memories of the experience of seeing the photograph of Till's face from the funeral. She indicates that Till's absence became even more profound as she read through the material in the library.
