- Abstract
The article discusses the orthopedic intervention where a robot control system (RCS) Handheld robotic devices (HHRDs) with multiple degrees of freedom (doF) that has improved the accuracy and adapted in orthopedic surgical workflows. Topics include different control modes of HHRDs; algorithm for collision detection, position and speed control; simulation environment and prototype; and ways in which t RCS protects defined regions from being penetrated by the HHRD.
