- Abstract
The article discusess court cases on regulatory takings in the U.S. It mentions about Lucas v. South Carolina Coastal Council case in which the court established the total takings test for evaluating whether a particular regulatory action constitutes a regulatory taking that requires compensation; and Palazzolo v. Rhode Island court in which the court held that a claimant does not waive his right to challenge a regulation by purchasing property after the enactment of the regulation challenged.
