- Abstract
The article examines some corporate behaviors that affect the likelihood of success of proposals to restructure corporations in the U.S. It discusses the proposed changes in internal corporate structure, the problem of control of corporate information, the creation and the failure of the Emergency Loan Guarantee Board (ELGB), and the case of the Lockheed Aircraft Corp. The article also explores the sensitive foreign payments and illegal domestic political contributions of corporations, and the efforts of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to regulate the payments.
