- Title
Perdidos en la isla de los prodigios: Lost o el abismo alegórico del drama barroco.

- Abstract
Following W. Benjamin's book The Origin of German Tragic drama, this article establishes a parallelism between the American series Lost and Baroque dramas. Although Lost doesn't take place in the Court but rather on an island, its characters act under the same influence of Fate that envelops princes and courtiers, in an historical era marked by catastrophe, fragmentation and chaos. In this sense, the universe of Lost is close to the conceptual viewpoint offered by Walter Benjamin in his interpretation, in terms of theology, of Baroque drama and allegory: Fall -- Fragmentation -- Ruin -- Fatality -- Allegorical abyss -- Subjective dream -- Redemption.
