- Abstract
From the operation status of primary frequency modulation of generating units in power generation enterprises, it is known that there are a series of negative constraints on the primary frequency modulation function and performance of each unit. By sorting out the problems presented in the recent dynamic regulation process of primary frequency modulation of some power units, the main problems affecting the contribution ability of primary frequency modulation are analyzed, including the accuracy of frequency difference signal measurement, the reverse of AGC and primary frequency modulation action process, and the deviation of the main parameters from the rated value in the dynamic process of units., etc. In order to improve the primary frequency modulation function and performance of the thermal power units, the basic measurement device should be taken as the starting point, and the characteristic working condition correction logic should be added on the basis of the conventional primary frequency modulation control strategy combined with the characteristics of each unit’s own problems. Based on the above optimization strategies, the primary frequency modulation function of a unit is optimized. The optimization results show that the scheme can improve the performance of the unit’s primary frequency modulation and the overall economy of the unit under the premise of satisfying the safe and stable operation of the unit.
