- Abstract
The article focuses on the practice of law related to assisted reproduction technology (ART) and the withdrawal of frozen sperm and eggs from cryobanks. Topics include the legal relationship between a cryobank and a depositor of reproductive tissue; terms and conditions of cryopreservation agreements; reproductive tissue as legal property; and reproductive materials as human being. It also mentions York v. Jones, a court case dealing with the ownership of embryos from in vitro fertilization.
