- Abstract
In the article, the authors discuss the importance of youth mentoring programs to address juvenile delinquency among at-risk young people in the rural areas in the U.S. Also cited are the evidence showing that well-designed mentoring could result in new relationships and enhance the creativity and confidence of young adults, and some youth mentoring programs like the Big Brothers Big Sisters.
