- Authors
ANDERSON, TYLER
- Abstract
The article focuses on the court case Barnes v. State, and discusses the doctrinal evolution of statues as civil remedy for unlawful searches and seizures in the homes of Indiana citizens. It presents information on the castle doctrine and its application to the U.S. Fourth Amendment which reflects its inefficiency to address untouched home privacy issues. It proposes the qualified immunity doctrine for providing an effective remedy for providing the balance to home privacy issues in Indiana.
