- Abstract
The work of teachers staff has been changing because of the advancement of technological resources. In that way, we highlight, on the one hand, the precarization of work and, on the other hand, the overwork that the education professional in Brazil faces daily, which ends up affecting teachers' personality rights. The general objective of this work, therefore, is to present the physical and emotional impacts of information and communication technology (ICT) in the teaching work environment and, to what extent these impacts affect their personality rights, that is, their dignity. Regarding the specific objectives, the research intends to address the impact of technology on the teaching work environment, the excess of work and the personality rights of teachers in this technological environment.The study is relevant considering the problem of overwork, the precarization of the teaching profession and how their rights many times are made invisible by managers. In this approach, we used the hypothetical-deductive method to problematize the themes: precarization, environment, teaching work, and personality rights. We conclude that there is much to be improved in relation to the guarantee of the rights of personality and the teaching work, because the education professional, although very important to the development of society, almost always faces the indifference of the Educational Institutions when the subject is about the referred rights.
