- Authors
Joseph, Charles M.
- Abstract
The article discusses the application of creativity in designing a strategic educational plan by Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. One form of creativity applied in transforming institutional thinking is through involving freshmen students in an immediate and passionate learning experience. Students are given opportunity to make a stage play to divert their attention from a textual analysis to an extra curricular theatrical activity. Another form of creativity is the provision of programs that give students a chance to interact with dancers, actors, and writers. Nurturing students to involve actively in molding their experiences is another form of creativity applied at the school.
