- Abstract
The authors discuss means of improving global child survival while focusing on Indonesia as an example. They believe that a combination of beneficial health interventions and economic growth are needed to reduce child mortality rates. Indonesia is noted for having instituted a program called the Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI) in 1997.
