- Abstract
The world's human existence is corporal. At this point, corporal should mean sensitivity, the possibility to know and learn, a language form that provides the dialogue with the world. This article aims to reflect on the possible relationships between the body, education and the sensitive know how, focusing on the body's import for education. The point is not to deny the rationalized and the fragmented education, supporting the value of the sensitive know how to the current education. The point is not to deny the rationalized and fragmented education developed in the schools nowadays, which objects didacticism, memorization and preparation for the job market. Rather, to show that a sensitive know how based education, enabled by the coporal experience at the world, may help to develop a most unabridged and meaningful education, which will consider many aspects in the teaching and learning process, such as the students previous experiences, the school context, the family, and the many possibilities each student perceive and feel relative to the world around. Thereby, the sensitive know how turns primordial to the development of autonomy and creation of different thinking ways about the world. Concluding this text, we lay emphasis on the significance of the education of the senses, ensuring that the meaningful learning has its roots on the corporeity and diversity. Therefore, may be constroyed world's awareness and ressignification places and coexistencial axes for the student.
