- Abstract
The objective of this research was to evaluate the efficiency of fungicides, isolated or in combination, and its effect on the bromatological characteristics of dual purpose wheat, BRS Umbu. The experiment was carried out in the experimental field of the Universidade Estadual do Centro Oeste - UNICENTRO, CEDETEG campus, in the city of Guarapuava, PR. The experimental design was a randomized complete block design, in a 4 x 3 factorial scheme, four fungicide management and three phases of culture, in three repetitions, totaling 36 plots. The treatments were: 1- control (no application); 2- triazole; 3- strobilurin and 4- triazole + strobilurin, and the fases of application of the fungicides were: 1 - vegetative phase (tillering); 2 - reproductive phase (flowering) and 3 - vegetative + reproductive phase. The cultivar BRS Umbu were used and for the treatments were used the fungicides: triazole (ciproconazole - 200 mL ha-1); strobilurin (trifloxystrobin - 300 mL ha-1); Triazole + strobilurin (cyproconazole + trifloxystrobin - 200 mL ha-1). The bromatological characteristics were: total digestible nutrients (TDN), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ADF) and hemicellulose (HEM). The averages were compared by the test of Tukey, to 5% of probability. The application of triazole fungicide results in a reduction in neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber, these being dependent on the application fase. The application of fungicide at reproductive and vegetative + reproductive stage showed a positive effect on the bromatological parameters of dual purpose wheat forage.
