- Abstract
The use of glass ceramic masses based on lithium disilicate, used by pressing technology (pressed ceramics), represents a very interesting alternative, and above all extremely effective for obtaining totally physiognomic prosthetic restorations. But, for the manufacture of such pressed ceramic prosthetic restorations, it is necessary not only a very good collaboration between the dental office and the dental laboratory, but also a very good professional training of all the members who make up the dental medical team: prosthodontist, dental nurse and dental technician.
