- Abstract
The article discusses the way pelagic longline fishery-loggerhead turtle in the Gulf of Gabes, Tunisia, interacts to different type of bait. It notes that sea turtles may migrate vast distances from their feeding areas to their home where they nest. During their migration, it stresses that sea turtle are subject to many threats, among which are interactions with pelagic longlines. It affects the catch of the target species by increasing the efficiency when pieces of stingrays were used.
